Memorable Moments

Elementary School

• I remember traveling to Hawaii at a young age to visit my Aunt Gloria. Don't remember much about the trip but do remember walking into a glass door, and the nasty smells of China Town. Kind of ironic considering the last time I went, China Town was one of my favorite stops! I remember thinking my aunt was so cool because she was so tan and had a nice body from swimming!
• I remember my friend Mary and I persistently trying to hook up her brother Rob with my sister, so that Mary and I could become sisters when they married.
• I remember the tune to The Young and the Restless, a soap that Kay Jackson always watched when she babysat me!
• I remember making up dances to songs from the musical Cats with my neighbor Mary in my dad's study.
• I remember swimming into the wall at Moila which pretty much ruined my face! (I wasn't ever one to open my eyes under water.)
• I remember playing Ren and Stimpy with my good friend Jen in 3rd grade when we probably should've been listening to Mr. Akard
• I remember Joe Houts getting us suspended from the patrol corner for a couple weeks because he had supposedly hit a girl with his stop sign.
• I remember getting a really great compliment from my 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Thorpe one day, and knew then that I wanted to grow up to be like her!
• I remember squating down and peeing in the drain at Mary's pool, because Ann wouldn't let us come inside if we were wet!
• I remember getting in trouble at my friend Lindsay's because I was really mean to her, but hell she wouldn't play barbies. How Lame?
• I remember getting in trouble in the lunch room for spitting on the lunch table with Sami Pashik. What was I thinking?
• I remember the day my sissy forgot to pick me up from school, and I had to carry my heavy french horn home, which ended up ripping my sweet pants.
• I remember having seances while listening to "lightning crashes" by LIVE, with Alli, Beth, Sami, and Jen. Lindsay would never join us!
• I remember KC Wolf shaking his hips at Noyes School, maybe that is why I'm such a big Chiefs fan today!

Bode

• I remember my first day of school turning around and noticing that hot boy Andy Dempster from Art Scape was in my music class! Bout peed my pants!
• I remember Brookey and I walking home together every day in our high boot Doc Martins, and yes sometimes with overalls. They were cool then!
• I remember Katee Mejia and I calling the Chicken Cordon Bleu, "Chicken Laboola" at the Beta Epsilon Sigma reception. We still call each other Laboola to this very day!
• I remember my math teacher in 8th grade was looking at my paper and snot fell out of her nose and dripped on my paper. Don't remember who had that class with me but it sure was the talk of the day.
• I remember falling deeply in love with Brad Gower in English and Social Studies! But hey, what girl at Bode didn't?
• I remember thinking how awful it was to change in front of girls for P.E. People were starting to get boobs, and mine (believe it or not) were flat.
• I remember how strange people thought it was that Trey Rowe was so tall and his voice was so deep. I was scared of him.
• I remember having a detention lunch with the health teacher and my good friend Kelsey, because we talked through the entire class. She was a mean lady.
• I remember playing jump twist or dive at Moila, and accidentally doing a belly flop in front of BRYAN NAGLE. I was MORTIFIED!!! Brooke never let me live that down :/

High School... I won't even begin! Things could get dangerous and the list could go on and on. Maybe that will be another post at a later time!
